En réponse à la problématique de la judiciarisation pénale des personnes ayant une déficience intellectuelle, plusieurs démarches au Québec favorisent une approche intersectorielle. Cette communication vise à contribuer à ces initiatives d’une double façon : par la communication des résultats de recherche et par l’exposé d’un modèle d’action intersectorielle. Le premier cas renvoie au point de vue d’acteurs-clés sur leurs pratiques à l’interface entre le milieu de la justice et celui de la réadaptation; tandis que le second réfère à l’utilité de l’actualisation des démarches intersectorielles.
Abstract
In response to the problem of the criminal prosecution of people with intellectual disabilities, several initiatives in Quebec are promoting an intersectoral approach. This paper aims to contribute to these initiatives in two ways: by communicating research results and by presenting a model for intersectoral action. The first case refers to the point of view of key actors on their practices at the interface between the justice and rehabilitation sectors; while the second refers to the usefulness of updating intersectoral approaches.
